Withdrawal from the contract - returns

Information on the Consumer's right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance:
In accordance with the applicable Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights (Journal of Laws of 24 June 2014, item 827), a Consumer who has concluded a contract at a distance may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving a reason and without incurring any costs, except for the costs specified in the Act, such as the direct cost of return.

The Consumer shall bear the direct costs of returning each product, including the costs of return in the event that the product, due to its nature, cannot be returned by post in the usual way, i.e. when the cost of return is higher than a regular postal parcel.

In what situation can you not exercise the right to withdraw from a distance contract?
The right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to the Consumer in the case of a contract:
Concerning goods that are non-prefabricated, manufactured according to the Consumer's specifications or intended to meet their individual needs.

Concerning goods delivered in a sealed package, which cannot be returned after opening the package due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging was opened after delivery (e.g. epilators, hair clippers, dryers, straighteners, shavers, etc.).
The subject of which are audio or visual recordings or computer programs delivered in a sealed package if the package was opened after delivery (e.g. computer games, software, films, music, etc.).

Regarding the provision of an additional service, if the seller has fully performed the service with the express consent of the Consumer, who has been informed that after the Seller has fulfilled the service, the right to withdraw from the contract will be lost.

The right to withdraw from a contract concluded remotely does not apply to entities that are not Consumers (e.g. sole proprietorships, companies, institutions, etc.).
